Saense Strategy is co-founded by two Wharton PhDs with over 25 years of combined experience in research and consulting across a broad range of areas and specializations in strategy.

As consultants and advisors, we have worked with a wide variety of private, multilateral and public organizations globally.

We train current and future business and policy leaders, including MBAs, PhDs and Executives, and effectively communicate complex business and strategic management insights across these different levels.

Elisa Alvarez‑Garrido, PhD

Managing Partner & Co-Founder

Elisa is a thought-leader on strategy and international business, innovation and technological change, entrepreneurship and private equity. Her expertise is on private equity and venture capital, life sciences, and telecommunications. Prior to academia, she was a member of the legal BAR in Madrid, Spain. She earned a PhD in Management from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. She is on the faculty at the University of South Carolina and previously at Georgia State University. She is originally from Spain.

Lite J. Nartey, PhD

Managing Partner & Co-Founder

Lite is a thought-leader on strategy and international business, stakeholder engagement and management, sustainability, sustainable development and emerging markets. Her expertise is on energy, extractives, telecommunications, banking and fintech. Prior to academia she was an international development specialist. She earned a PhD in Management from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. She is on the faculty at INSEAD (France) and previously at the University of South Carolina. She is originally from Ghana.
